在 M+ Creative Arts Studio，我们相信，艺术教育应该远远超越课堂本身。

学习钢琴、声乐、视觉艺术、摄影或影视创作，并不仅仅意味着完成一节课、掌握一首作品，或学会一种技巧。更重要的是，我们希望帮助年轻人学会表达自己，自信地面对观众，与他人合作，并拥有把自己的作品带向更广阔世界的勇气。

正因如此，我们始终把真实的艺术实践视为教育不可或缺的一部分。多年来，我们不断为年轻人创造机会，让他们走进音乐厅、剧院、美术馆、艺术中心以及各种公共文化空间。从 Beaverbrook Art Gallery 音乐会系列、《呦呦鹿鸣——中国钢琴作品音乐之旅》（Blossoming Tunes – A Journey Through Chinese Piano Melodies）和学生慈善音乐会，到在 Fredericton Playhouse 上演的跨界艺术项目《Echoes of Fundy Bay》；从 Atlantic International Youth Art Festival、青少年摄影及视觉艺术展览，到在 Mississauga Living Arts Centre、Charlotte Street Arts Centre 等艺术场所的展示与演出，我们希望学生能够亲身经历：艺术如何从课堂走向舞台，又如何从个人的学习走进真实的公共文化生活。

通过 AD ASTRA 青少年艺术与领导力项目、社区文化活动、中国新年舞台制作、慈善项目、摄影、纪录片创作以及数字故事等不同形式，学生可以承担丰富多样的角色。他们可以演奏、演唱、展览、主持、策划、采访、摄影、摄像、进行媒体制作；也可以参与团队合作、志愿服务以及社区艺术项目。通过这些真实的实践，他们逐渐从单纯的艺术学习者，成长为能够自信表达自己、与他人建立连接，并主动参与社区和公共生活的年轻人。

我们希望提供的，并不仅仅是一年一次的学生汇报演出，而是一个持续发生、丰富多元并真正具有意义的艺术实践系列。

每一次走上舞台，都让自信多一点；
每一次作品被展出，都让自己的声音被更多人看见；
每一次参与并完成一个真实的艺术项目，年轻人都会获得仅仅依靠课堂无法给予他们的成长经历。

归根结底，艺术教育给予年轻人的，不应该只有技巧和成绩。

它更应该帮助他们拥有表达的勇气、创造的能力、合作的意识，以及走向更广阔世界的自信。

At M+ Creative Arts Studio, we believe arts education should extend far beyond the classroom. Learning piano, voice, visual arts, photography, or filmmaking is not simply about completing a lesson, mastering a piece, or learning a technique. More importantly, it is about helping young people express themselves, face an audience with confidence, collaborate with others, and have the courage to bring their work into the wider world.

For this reason, we see real artistic experience as an essential part of education. Over the years, we have continually created opportunities for young people to step into concert halls, theatres, galleries, arts centres, and public cultural spaces. From concert series at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, Blossoming Tune – A Journey Through Chinese Piano Melodies, and student charity concerts, to the interdisciplinary production Echoes of Fundy Bay at the Fredericton Playhouse; from the Atlantic International Youth Art Festival and youth photography and visual arts exhibitions, to presentations at venues such as the Mississauga Living Arts Centre and Charlotte Street Arts Centre, we want students to experience how art moves from the classroom into public life.

Through AD ASTRA, our youth arts and leadership initiatives, community cultural events, Chinese New Year stage productions, charity projects, photography, documentary filmmaking, and digital storytelling, students can take on many different roles. They may perform, exhibit, host, plan, interview, photograph, film, produce media, collaborate as a team, volunteer, and participate in community arts projects. In this way, they gradually grow from students of the arts into young people who can confidently express themselves, connect with others, and take an active role in their communities.

What we hope to offer is not simply one annual student recital, but a continuing series of meaningful and diverse artistic experiences. Every time a student steps onto a stage, confidence grows. Every time a work is exhibited, a personal voice becomes visible. Every time a young person helps complete a real artistic project, they gain an experience that no classroom alone can provide.

Ultimately, arts education should give young people more than skills and achievements. It should help them develop the courage to express, the ability to create, the awareness to collaborate, and the confidence to step into a larger world.
